1. Information We Collect

Email address, optional phone number, prefix, uploaded images, usage data (storage used, image count).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide the service, send transactional emails (verification, password reset, auto-delete warnings), and improve the platform.

3. Image Storage

Images are stored on AWS S3 in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1 region). Images are served via Amazon CloudFront CDN. Public CDN links are accessible to anyone with the link.

4. EXIF Data

We automatically strip all EXIF metadata (including GPS location, device info) from every uploaded image before storing it.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use Supabase (database), AWS (storage), Resend (email), Sentry (error monitoring), and Google Analytics (website usage analytics) as service providers.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Deleted images are permanently removed from our servers within 3 days (free) or 7 days (pro). Images deleted under our over-limit enforcement policy (when a Free account exceeds its storage limits) are removed permanently and are not routed to Trash; see our Terms of Service for details. You can delete your account at any time.

7. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption, encrypted storage, row-level security, and regular security audits to protect your data. Your personal data is processed and stored in India (AWS Mumbai, ap-south-1 region) and is handled in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

8. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your data at any time from your account Settings. To request complete account deletion, email support@imgvault.in.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication. We also use Google Analytics, which sets analytics cookies (such as _ga) to help us understand how visitors use the site; this usage data is processed by Google. We do not use advertising cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics through your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools, such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

10. Children's Privacy

ImgVault is not intended for users under 18.

11. Changes

We will notify users of significant privacy policy changes via email.
